I’m flashing back to the days when productions were possible. PJ’s very own, Dave McGrath, was tapped as director of photography for the TV promotion of “The Sinner,” Season 3. (Currently streaming on USA Network). I was also on set as first assistant camera. Here is how we established the camera and lighting equipment for the shoot:
- Camera – Canon C300 Mk II
- Wide Shot Lens – Canon Cine Prime 24mm
- Dolly/Medium Close-Up Lens – Canon 17-120mm Cine Zoom
- Dolly – Dana Dolly
- Key Lights – Litemat 4 and Litemat 2: these lights were attached to the speed rail shown in the graphic below
- Hair Lights – Astra 6x and Aputure 120d II: these lights were placed behind the talent
- Fill Light – Joker 800: this light was placed at the top of the stairs in the background
