Mariah and Joe recently shot a docuseries with NBC Nightly News Films about coastal Louisiana, and the struggles they are facing due to land loss. Louisiana loses about a football field of land every hour, and the state is desperately trying to find an economical solution to build more land- but not without backlash from local commuinites.
