The PJ Staff are all working remotely to assist clients with any and all technical and creative support for free. As per NYS guidelines, Dave will be the only person allowed in the office and we are able to ship/deliver equipment packages to you, but we will not be offering any pickups or checkouts from our office.
Here’s what we are doing to minimize risk while also serving our clients:
Minimal Rental Period of One Week
We are not looking for volume or to turn around any equipment in less than a few days. When any gear is returned, it will be sanitized and put on the shelf in quarantine before being ready to go out again.
We will not be allowing anyone into the office for pickups or returns. This will keep our office and equipment as clean as possible and minimize any travel risks for our clients.
Marc and Hafeezah will still work with you to put together your rental over the phone or email. Noah and Lee will be available by phone and video conference to talk through your rental package and go over the details of your shoot. After your equipment arrives, we will continue to be fully available by video chat, phone, and email for any questions that you may have.
Keeping Equipment Clean
When gear is returned to PJ, it is first sanitized and then tested like any normal check in. That gear is then given a few days on the shelf before it is available to go out again. It is then prepped and sanitized once more before being packed up and delivered. If your company has any additional protocols that they would like us to follow, just tell us.
We are not looking to make a lot of money right now. We are simply trying to get a few long term rentals out the door to allow us to keep our staff fully employed throughout this crisis. We are expecting these to include news agencies, documentaries, and companies looking to allow a member to send out video messages from home to clients/staff at higher quality than a cell phone video. So rest assured that any rental is going to receive constant customer support from our entire staff.
